Patient Abandonment Bill (AB 207)

Email To A Friend
Puts the health care provider’s personal beliefs above patient care and legalizes patient abandonment by allowing health are professionals to refuse to give patients certain information, including referrals, even in life and death situations. Particularly impacts women’s health and lives by allowing health care workers to refuse treatment and information on infertility and birth control. This bill is such a violation of both medical ethics and patient care, that no health care organization in the entire state supports it.
